Building Better: Congressional and Private Sector Efforts to Promote High Performance Buildings

In recognition of High Performance Building Week, join High Performance Buildings Caucus Co-Chair Congressman Peter Welch (D VT) as well as chief executives from the High Performance Building Coalition for a roundtable discussion on efforts in congress and the private sector to promote public health, address climate change, and mitigate against natural hazards in the built environment.

The bipartisan High Performance Buildings Caucus supports legislation and policies that protect life and property, promote innovative building technologies, increase energy and water efficiency in the built environment, advance sustainable and resilient communities, and encourage the development of private sector standards, codes, and guidelines that address these important considerations.

The High Performance Buildings Coalition is a coalition of approximately 200 organizations that provides guidance and support to the High Performance Buildings Caucus of the U.S. Congress.
